Contacts have flared and heat treated barrels, which readily accept fine stranded wire to insure a consistent contact. Mechanical keys in housing prevent mating of different color connectors, preventing mismatching of voltages. Integral stainless steel springs maintain constant pressure on the contact to insure a consistent, low resistance connection. Auxiliary contacts provide a secondary circuit connection. Assembly is one colored housing with two tips.
